Fantastic $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

Following a brief run earlier this year, this cartography software collection is back with an encore available until Dec. 2. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by a specialized software company over the years, the entire collection carries a value of more than thirteen hundred dollars. Additionally, there exist three different bundles available here.

Primary Feature

The big draw is certainly permanent access to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard mapping application which enables users to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, detailed regional charts, city maps, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Bundle Tiers

Entry Level

The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-item bundle for at least $15 is where things get more interesting by adding in permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the annual collection from the company's ongoing subscription program featuring multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from all sides. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

Every volume of Cartographer's Annual are included here, plus numerous other resource and asset packs enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, dungeons, cities, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. Users can also create character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle offers tremendous value, particularly for mappers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly an even better deal for map-making newbies considering you even get introductory guides to facilitate learning. The sole limitation is that while you can redeem the deal across platforms, the applications only function on Windows.

Philanthropic Aspect

Similar to previous bundles, part of every purchase goes to benefit a nonprofit. For this one, the beneficiary is Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb focused on improving the lives of children worldwide through education, health care, and emergency relief.
