The United States Pledges a Significant Assistance Sum, Issuing a Stark Ultimatum to the UN.
With an announcement that combines financial support with stringent conditions, the United States has pledged $2 billion to support UN emergency relief programmes. But, this funding was accompanied by a stark warning for the global organization: it must "evolve or perish."
A Major Announcement Amid Broader Budget Reductions
